Calm in the room.

For two years I sat at the center of Walmart's fashion & beauty photo studio — coordinator and associate producer for high-volume on-figure and laydown shoots. Forty-five shoots ran through my hands, end to end: I designed the process structures the team ran on, directed pre-production style-outs and product reviews, built and socialized the creative decks, and worked as the single thread between creative, editorial, management, warehouse, and the outside world of production companies, talent, crew, and agencies.

And when things went sideways — a missing sample, a shifted timeline, a set that needed an answer now — solving it quietly was part of the job too. My specialty: the laydown program, produced end-to-end. When a shoot has this many moving pieces, someone has to be the calm in the room. That was mine — and the timelines held.
